Hey friends, if you are looking for an AI/ML application for inferring physical properties of the subsurface, consider checking out Ghassan AlRegib GitHub account. 
The account should have everything you need to train (in supervised settings) seismic data on acoustic impedance from well logs. 
On the Marmousi2 validation dataset, they could achieve 91% accuracy.
