Deep Learning for First Break Picking [ Dataset + Python code ]

Deep learning is applied because most classical methods fail to detect first arrivals precisely due to noisy seismic data.

Numerous research publications exist about using AI/ML for this problem; I will cover them later. Today, I would like to reshare my favorite open-source implementation with you, which provides a complete training code, data generation pipeline, and well-written summary.
